2015 Riverhead Cardboard Boat Race

This Year we had a great built boat and plenty of support but Ellen and Mike had some real stiff competition. The extra time allotted allowed many to work extra hard on their entry. Although we didn’t place; we are very proud of the crew and the rowers who did a great job and are a credit to the spirit this race has given our community. We want to say a special thank you to Eugene Rausch for providing us the transportation needed to get the boat to the Peconic.******

Before the Race; residents and guests gathering to cheer Mike and Ellen on while the crew makes last minute preparation. Pictures of some of this years competition.
