2016 Christmas Cookie Exchange

Again Katie Hand organized another successful cookie exchange held Monday December 19th in the Clubhouse. A group of talented bakers from the community each brought in 6 dozen of their favorite holiday treats to share with other bakers.

They all spread a little cheer and it look like they went home with some good desserts too.

Third Annual Christmas Caroling around the Community

On Sunday Dec. 18th, Ellen and Paul Spina, Bill Ingrassia and Carolyn Smith, Eileen Moylan, Kate, Denis and Santa Quigley Joyce and Judy Lanning strolled through the community singing festive Christmas Carols. Along the way some of the residents opened their door to enjoy some of the fun and holiday spirit.

Marilyn and Joe opened their doors and invited the carolers in for some holiday cheer and snacks.

Karen and Bob Boswell promised to Join in next year Sharon Green and Joey like it too So did Dominic and Diane Afterwards we returned to the Clubhouse for Hot Cocoa and cookies courtesy of Bill and Carolyn

Sister Act

Sunday November 27th, 2016 2 Brooklyn Born sisters came to Foxwood to perform the songs and acts of a variety of popular singers for the past and the present. They interacted with the residents and their renditions were nothing short of Fantastic! From the Great Miss Dolly to the Magnificent Babs, from Cher to Annie of Broadway, we rocked to Janis Joplin and found rhythm and soul with Dianna Ross. The songs continued and we sang and clapped and tapped along too.
