This proposed project directly affects the residents of Calverton. Apparently there is a looming deadline according to the article and the Riverhead Town Board has indicated it plans to move forward with it at it’s 6pm Wednesday, Feb 20, 2019; in less than 3 days.
The civic has a few other topics that I need to catch you up on, yet, I felt this surprising news needed to be gotten out ASAP to our civic and neighbors.
A general meeting of the civic is currently in the works. We are days/a week+ away from solidifying a date that works. Any input is helpful.
Please consider attending The Town Hall meeting at 200 Howell Avenue 6pm this Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019. The written letters sent to the civic email will be read into the record.
When we join together as a community is when we have the loudest voice. Then and only then will our elected politicians listen. Do not sit back and do nothing.
