The 21 worst parts of having Multiple Chronic Illnesses

There are many who suffer with many Chronic Illnesses but just having one is serious enough. There was a compilation of 21 sufferers who told what was worst about it to them.  I think many will see themselves or someone they know in the list.

  1. “They set each other off. A flare in one means a flare of all the fun comorbities. It’s like they amplify each other!” – Leah R.
  2. “People telling me I’m too young to have this many illnesses. I’m 26 and have six illnesses. I try to explain that pain doesn’t discriminate on age.” – Georgina W.Q.
  3. “When you aren’t sure which illness is causing the problem, or if it’s something all together different. Once you have more than one chronic illness you are also more likely to be diagnosed with more! Caffeine in Coffee

According to the Doka Coffee Plantation located in Costa Rica The amount of Caffeine in the darkest roast coffee (Espresso) is no higher than their breakfast blend. The belief that the dark roasts have more caffeine is a common misconception caused by the stronger taste.

Stronger tasting coffee has been roasted 3 times longer than breakfast blends. It can also be because a better bean has been used.

Robusta and Arabica  are the 2 types of beans grown.  Arabica are the higher grade and more expensive because of the delicate nature. They are susceptible to disease.

Robusta beans are hearty and disease resistant and have more caffeine and less sugar but are not the top quality.

Picking less than full ripe beans can lower the quality of the coffee .

Bottom line: while a coffee taste stronger it is not higher in caffeine and wont rev you up.

Decaffeinated Coffee: The Germans are one of the biggest removers of caffeine because they have a non chemical process. They do it with water. They do it for the coffee growers for little to no cost. They in turn sell the caffeine to companies like Coca Cola, Pepsi and candy makers.

If the coffee is decaffeinated  by water it usually will say it on the package. No company will say it was done with chemicals on the package .

IT IS A FACT THAT AMERICANS DON’T GET ENOUGH CALCIUM.Only 42 %  meet the estimated average daily requirement of 1000mg to 1200 mg(the exact amt.depends on age and gender)  It’s a serious problem because both men and women need calcium.Most people need no more than a 500mg daily supplement to fill any gap that exits in their diet.
