Funeral For John Krukoski

It is with deep regret that I inform you of the death of John Krukoski of house # 65.

Service to be held at McLaughlin Hepner Funeral Home on Marcy Ave. in Riverhead on

Wednesday June 14th from 2-4 and 7-9

Mass go be Held June 15th at 9:30 AM at St. Isidore RC Church at            622 Pulaski St. in Riverhead.

Burial will follow after Mass at St. Isidore’s Cemetery.

Then Under the picture Foxwood header picture Click on Following ( you might want to check off under notifications in the drop down menu  ON for all notification.)

Then on your home page you will see on left side the word pages. Click on it and any page you like and are following are there. Then you can just click on our picture and away you go.

Facebook as a social media is to be fun and hope everyone enjoys it.

Passing of Bernie Tannenbaum

It is with deep regret that I must announce the death of Bernie Tannenbaum from house #236. Bernie had been a long time resident of Foxwood. He had been an active member of the recreation committee for many years. Bernie participated in many community activities like Bocce and Trips; he spent many a summer at the pool. Bernie will be missed in our community.

Bernie will be waked at the OB Davis Funeral Home on Rote 25A in Miller Place on Monday April 10th from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. On Tuesday , April 11th there will be a service at the Funeral Home at 10AM which we be followed by a burial at Calverton National Cemetery.

Ongoing Computer scams in our Village

Several of our residents have fell victim to computer scams.

  • Some from suspected Microsoft; some from anti virus programs.

If you get a pop up on the web and it might freeze the screen It will claim something like: WARNING, your computer may be infected. Call a toll free number at Microsoft. You wont get a call from Microsoft. They aren’t monitoring your computer.

If frozen, hit together :CTRL + ALT + Delete and click on task manager. Locate Google or Microsoft edge and end task. Problem solved.

DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER or let them access your Computer!!!!!

The same applies if you got a call from Anti- Virus company. They shouldn’t call you unless you pay for a monitoring service. Again don’t let them access your computer.

If you feel there may be a problem, run your anti virus program on FULL SCAM!! If still unsure contact a TECH Support Agent.

If your computer is running slow

The problem is generally due to not clearing Browsing History (COOKIES)

Do do it on Google (Edge very similar) follow steps below for easiest way:

GOOGLE                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Click on 3 dots on right side of Google home page or your home page

 

Click on History

Click again on History which will bring History page above in Blue.

On left side click on clear browsing history 

When next page comes up: change obliterate browsing history to delete from beginning of time

And click on clear browsing history
